LATEST NEWS: Sykes Drawings moved to History Centre

The first half of around 20,000 microfiche records of drawings created by the W R Sykes Interlocking Signal company have now been moved to the Wiltshire and Swindon History Centre, where they will soon be available for public access.

The final consignment will be moved to the History Centre on the 28th August.

Unfortunately they’re not indexed – maybe there’s a brave volunteer out there – but there is a treasure trove of information contained within this unique archive.

More information about Sykes can be found here.
